July WTI crude oil this morning is up +72 cents a barrel (+1.25%). July gasoline is up +0.0202 (+1.03%). Thursday's closes: CLN5 +0.17 (+0.30%), RBN5 +0.0520 (+2.69%). Jul crude and gasoline on Thursday closed higher on the weaker dollar and on the -2.8 million bbl decline in EIA crude inventories, more than expectations of -2.0 million bbl. Gasoline prices found support on the -3.3 million bbl drop in EIA gasoline stockpiles to a 5-1/2 month low of 220.6 million bbl, more than expectations of -1.3 million bbl. Crude oil prices were undercut by +3.3% increase in U.S. crude production to a 43-year high of 9.566 million bpd.
