Metals prices this morning are trading lower. GCZ5 -4.8 (-0.44%), SIU5 -0.027 (-0.19%), HGU5 -0.017 (-0.70%). Tuesday's closes: GCZ5 -1.7 (-0.16%), SIU5 +0.030 (+0.21%), HGU5 +0.0040 (+0.17%). Metals prices on Tuesday settle mixed. Metals were pressured by the rally in the dollar index to a 2-week high and signs of expanding copper supplies after LME copper inventories rose +975 MT to 347,500 MT, a 1-1/2 year high. A positive factor was the +0.5% increase in U.S. Jun factory orders ex-transportation, the biggest increase in a year.
