Metals prices on Friday closed higher on the fall in the dollar index to a 1-1/2 week low after the smaller-than-expected increase U.S. Sep non-farm payrolls reduced the chances of a Fed rate hike this year. Copper prices were boosted by the -975 MT decline in LME copper inventories to a 3-month low of 319,425 MT.
